Monday, May 21:
Busses for CEDAR POINT will line up and load on Oak Street beginning at 5:45 a.m. Busses will leave Unity at 6:00 a.m. SHARP. Check the bus lists posted on the office window to note which bus you will be riding. You will return to Unity by 12:00 midnight.
Wednesday, May 23:
SENIOR BREAKFAST will begin at 10:30 a.m. at Kentwood Community Church, 1200 60th Street SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. GRADUATION REHEARSAL will be immediately following breakfast. Directions to Kentwood Community Church are available in the office.

The MHSSA physical form has an extensive medical history section that MUST be filled out and signed by a parent BEFORE it can be turned in the night of the physical. Forms are available on Unity’s website and in the office.
8. SPEED & AGILITY is back for the next 3 Wednesday afternoons. Today’s speed and agility will be held in the South Gym due to AP testing in the North Gym.
9. The Weight Room will be closed after school today due to AP testing in the North Gym.

Hudsonville Public buses WILL NOT be running their AM routes tomorrow. Students who normally ride a Hudsonville Public bus must find their own transportation TO school. Unity and Hudsonville Public buses will run their normal routes after school.
3. SENIORS: The Senior Awards and Appreciation Dinner will be held tonight at Ridgewood CRC. Punch is served at 7:15 with dinner at 7:30. The Awards Program will begin at 8:00. Parents are invited to the Awards Program and dessert afterwards. Formal wear is not required, but do dress nice. No jeans please. You have a great meal to look forward to, served by the Unity staff! 3. SENIORS: Anyone interested in singing the song: “Go Light Your World,” at graduation, is invited to be part of a choral group that will be rehearsing next week. The first rehearsal will be on Monday morning at 7:00 am in the choir room. There will also be a rehearsal Wednesday morning at 7:00 am. You MUST be at rehearsals in order to sing at graduation.
4. Youth Advisory Committee applications are due today. Applications are available in the office. Students from all grade levels are encouraged to apply.
5. GIRLS SWIM: All girls who were on this year’s swim team should plan to meet during lunch today in Mr. Landstra’s room (#17).

Unity will be dismissed at 12:20 pm today. Hudsonville buses WILL NOT run after school. However, Unity will provide transportation home for all students. Unity bus #03 will take students home who live south and east of Unity and bus #04 will take students who live north and west of school.
3. TECH CENTER is optional today. Transportation will be provided to and from Tech Center. Students are encouraged to use this as a make-up day if you need one.
4. There are several students who have not turned in LOCKER REGISTRATION forms for next year. If you do not turn in your locker request a locker partner will be assigned to you. Extra forms are available in the office.

2. SENIORS: Counselors will be coming into your Global Studies classes on Thursday to talk about the Senior Awards and Appreciation night, which will be held on Tuesday, May 15. You will also be asked to fill out a short form telling counselors your plans for next year and also any merit scholarships you are receiving. This information will be used at the Awards Night and Graduation. It is very important that you come prepared with all accurate information. See your counselor if you have any questions.

1. FOOD COURT MENUS: (Juniors, this is your day to sell.)

DONUTS will be sold during break tomorrow for 75¢ each.
2. LOCKER REGISTRATION forms for next year were distributed during 3rd period yesterday. If you did not receive a form, you may pick one up from the office. All registration forms must be completed and returned to your 3rd period teacher or the office by tomorrow.
3. SENIORS: Counselors will be coming into your Global Studies classes on Thursday to talk about the Senior Awards and Appreciation night, which will be held on Tuesday, May 15. You will also be asked to fill out a short form telling counselors your plans for next year and also any merit scholarships you are receiving. This information will be used at the Awards Night and Graduation. It is very important that you come prepared with all accurate information. See your counselor if you have any questions.
4. SENIORS: The class trip to CEDAR POINT is Monday, May 21. Cost is $15. Ticket purchase and bus sign-ups will be during break next week Tuesday through Thursday in the South Gym. You must sign-up and pay in person; friends WILL NOT be allowed to sign each other up.
5. SENIORS: A master list of OPEN HOUSES is being compiled in the Media Center. If you would like to have your open house included on the list, bring your information to the Media Center or Office. Information should include your name, location of open house, date, and time.
6. Interested in nursing or a career in the medical field? A panel of people involved in hospital nursing will be at Unity tomorrow during third period. They will talk about their work and give you an opportunity to ask questions. Sign up in the Guidance Office if you are interested in attending this discussion panel. See a counselor if you have any questions.
7. Kid’s Food Basket offers an opportunity for students to be directly involved with their work by hosting a Youth Action Board for area schools. If you are interested in being Unity’s representative, contact Josie Baar for more information.
8. Students interested in going to KIDS’ FOOD BASKET on Thursday should sign up in the office. The bus will leave Unity at 2:45 and return by 5:00. This is the last time for the year. Lunch bags are available in the office for decorating.
9. GIRLS: Any girls interested in hanging out with great people and taking a break to talk about God should meet in Mr. Landstra’s room (17) during lunch today.

6. Arsenic and Old Lace is one of the funniest plays ever written for live theater. This year Unity is sponsoring a student directed production of this play on May 3 and 4. Performances will be held at Beaverdam Reformed Church. Tickets can be purchased by students during break this week at a table outside the office. Ticket price is $5, all seats are general admission.
